Trinity Hall has made a significant impact on the world despite their diminutive stature and have some impressive alumni including JB Preistley, Stephen Hawking and Rachel Weisz. We were appointed to evolve their brand identity. Building on the college's history, black was selected as the primary colour, providing a backdrop for elegant serif typography, embellished with subtle white guidelines which echo those found on the college's hand painted signage.In addition a library of college inspired elements has been curated. These are used to punctuate typography, create interesting textural patterns or just sit as heritage themed page furniture. These elements together make an authentic and energetic canvas that really reflects the college's restraint and humility. The College crest has a huge amount of heritage so as a part of the brand system this was respected and retained. The crest was modernised to allow for more effective application whilst retaining its essence.In addition to the rebrand we were appointed to design an identity and narrative for their fundraising campaign. Using the driver Belong, Believe, Become that expressed to Alum the very nature of their beloved college, fundraising targets were soon met.
