Neubau

Neubau is an architectural practice based in Cambridge but inherently global in ideology and reach. They are offspring of OMA and this is very evident in both their approach and their work. Neubau think and design and build. They invent; spaces, buildings, rooms, land, programmes and objects. And importantly they challenge. They challenge convention, archetypes and theories, and they challenge 'normal'.

 

We were appointed to design and build a new digital presence that was a better reflection of their philosophy. With materiality being such a fundamental part of their work, the website needed to feel textural. And as is often the case with such a fundamental touchpoint, it felt like an appropriate point to evolve their brand identity refining the essence they had originally created. The outcome was a bold and challenging manifestation of their brand that pushes at the edges of digital design and encapsulates their very essence.
