- Brand Identity
Downing College is one of 31 colleges within the University of Cambridge, which is consistently ranked amongst the top universities in the world. The Downing College International Programme is a programme of education intended to be challenging, where college academics push students who are studying on this programme to learn about different subjects and to think differently about subjects they might have studied before. Whilst there are many private companies which offer a pseudo University of Cambridge experience, Downing was the first (and still one of a very small handful of colleges) to offer an authentic college experience for students to interact with Cambridge academics. Our role was to design a brand identity for the programme which leant hard into the verbal creating a number of pairings that merged characteristics of the college with student outcomes. The project culminated in an emotive film, and a photoshoot that captured the impact of the programme on the delegates' lives. This was applied in a range of contexts, from international recruitment exhibitions to social media and Google ad campaigns.
